Code Of Conduct & Ranks

We are a family guild comprised of individuals from across the globe. Rank and level withstanding everyone in MOJO deserves your respect equally. Like a family we will likely annoy you incessantly, poke fun at you when the opportunity arises, and just generally get on your last nerve. We also promise to be there when the chips are down and back you when needed.
Along with the Council Elders and officers of MOJO, we have come up with guidelines on how we will run our guild. All members of MOJO should be aware of these rules and abide by them accordingly.
GENERAL RULE
- Treat all players fairly and with respect.
- Refrain from using excessive profanity, racial or ethnic remarks, personal attacks, sexual harassment, or statements that put down a person's life style.
- Do not exploit the games in any way, shape or form.
- Do not loot steal
- Do not purposefully grief another player despite how much you hate them. MOJO's are better then that. Addendum: Neither the open forums nor open in-game chat is a place to air personal grievances. If it has gotten to that point you NEED a mediator please seek an Council Elder and GM you trust to step in, before it goes too far and/or causes irreparable damage to both yours and our relationships.
- While most of us play WOW we are not a WOW guild. We are not about a single game. It's about the people who make up this family.
NEW MEMBERS AND PROMOTION
When a person has been in the guild for a period of time and has proven that they are "MOJO Material", they can be rewarded with a promotion in rank that allows them certain guild privileges and responsibilities.
The 4 MOJO Ranks are:
- Initiate
- Training Spy
- Master Spy
- Council Elders and GM

Is the rank a new member will have automatically. |
| Training Spy |
The promotion from Initiate to Training Spy will be a period of about one week. At the end of one week promotion happens semi-automatically. No Fan fair, No fuss, just a promotion. |
| Master Spy |
The Promotion from Training Spy to Master Spy is based on your time in rank plus activitiy level. The minimum time in Training Spy is 2 weeks. Within the two weeks if your guild participation is normal then eligiablity for a promotion to Master Spy is granted. |
| Council Elders and GM |
The Council of Elders where formed a few years ago. WOW's level of guild mechanic is such that Council Elders are GMs without GM-level prividges. Basically they have the same role as a GM. This structure was created so that the GM wouldn't be solely required to put in tons of hours maintaining the guild. Promotion into the role of Council Elder is something the GM and other CEs decide and vote on and is never automatic. |
These rankings are taken from the roots of MOJO. We formed MOJO in October 2003 within Star Wars Galaxies. Our humor was a blend of the Star Wars universe and "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery". The title "Galactic Spies of Mystery" is a hybrid of these two pop-culture films.
DEMOTIONS - REMOVALS - SILENCES
We have enacted a zero-tolerance policy towards mischievous behavior. An example of this includes:
- Constantly begging for promotions after being told no, you're not ready, or not now.
- Constantly begging for instance runs
- Constantly begging for stuff out of the bank tab which you clearly are not qualified to use.
- Mistreating fellow guildmates. For example a MOJO formed an instance party with a few other MOJOs. For some reason a level 70 joined the party. With out a word the lower level MOJO was kicked from the party.
- Harrassment of fellow mojos.
NOTE: Being an Elder does not shield you from the CoC. Elders will be held to the same degree of accountability as everyone else.
